why does it seem that most guys that i've known or dated are jackasses?? where are the nice guys that 'finishes last'? i hardly doubt any exist in this university, but i think i'm going to end up being a old maid if i can't find a decent guy.
there are good guys out there right????

Where are the nice guys? They are the guys that are too shy to ask you on a date. They are the guys that you don't give a chance. The guys that have the guts to ask you out are the jackasses. That or you just have having a bad luck for now. If I were you, I'd be more outgoing in general so that you meet more people.

Most guys fail to use the brains they were born with for anything other than video games or cars, that's why. The "nice guys' that finish last" are already taken because their gfs' already know that those guys are able to insure taking care of them first before they take care of themselves! And yes, there ARE still "nice guys'" out there just looking for the right gal to come into their lives!

they prefer chicks like that via the undeniable fact that is how men are. i'd like to carry close why they are like that as well. with the intention to stay clear of that happeneing to you...do not date men that are like that. Get a guy who surely note of ladies human beings. And trust me...there are some men which have note of. do not fall for the best searching men. those are in basic terms the biggest jackasses there is.

I was just gonna say you keep meeting the wrong guys, and maybe in the wrong places. Another thing, get to know the guy as much as you can before you even consider them your friend. Try to see beyond just the physical aspect of the guy. Try to see qualities, and personality. And don't rush it. I bet you're still young enough. The longer you wait the better it gets. You're more mature, you get to find more mature guys, and you have more experience in life. Good luck.

If you keep meeting guys the same was (bars, school) you're going to keep meeting the same kind of guys. The arrogant jackasses are the ones who approach you and woo you with their confidence. You probably ignore the nice guys.

Maybe you are picking all the same guy. We tend to pick the Bad-boy image because its kool. All guys are not the same you just have got to open yourself up to the guys you talk too. Their is probably a couple of guys right under your nose but you wont talk to them for some reason or another. If you want different you have to look in different places.

the good guys are all spoken for. even when you think you meet a good guy, he turns out to be a complete as*hole. it's just a part of life, see how many sh*t bombs you can deal with until they just break you down and you end up stuck with a suck @ss guy.

I think you are making the mistake of classifying every guy who makes even the slightest "mistake" as a jackass.
stop focusing on the negative.
