Tickets, Fines, Fees Crimes that make the city or state money. I know we couldn't live without them but it seems unless it involves the state making money they really don't enforce those kinds of laws

Ex:illegal immigration If they stopped and detained illegal immigrants they couldn't profit from that= no enforcement

Ex:Joint of weed in your car = busted!

There was an article in today's los angeles times about the parking enforcement officers and how effective they are. I've noticed that on the street where I work they come by 5 minutes after 4:00 and start writing tickets. Meanwhile we are waiting months for the city to fix the broken sidewalks etc. I think it all has to do with money. Of course one of the reason they write tickets and tow cars is to keep all lanes of traffic open during rush hour.

i don't be attentive to approximately the place you're, yet in my city, the money from fines and stuff like this is positioned back into the city. surely, we are paying to stay right here. although that is positioned to good use. The interior reach city police merely used a shitload of advantageous funds to place radar and video cameras of their vehicles. The county used some funds to place in video cameras of their vehicles, and each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days at Christmas, a proportion of the money paid in each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days is going to purchase toys and garments for underprivileged young infants interior the community. so as that they use the money for good, to no longer line their own wallet.
