Dry them (Paper Towels) if you plan on Broiling them our sauteing them.
If you are cooking them in a sauce, then drying them is less important.

Scallops should only be cooked for a few minutes since exposure to too much heat will cause them to become tough and fibrous.

Thaw them in cold water - doesn't take long at all
Use them along with shrimp for a seafood and pasta [linguine]
Saute' the scallops in a small bit of butter and.or olive oil...add some fresh lemo and garlic...serve over linguine.

One of the best way I think scallops are prepared is to sautee them in butter,lemon juice,a pinch of chopped garlic,chopped parsley. Serve Drawn butter or melted as others might say.

Thaw them first and prepare however you like. I like to wrap them with a strip of bacon and sear them on a hot grill. Yum.
