I called one of those gentleman's 900 numbers and was enjoying a pleasant conversation until I said something to upset the beautiful lady on the other end of the phone. Anyway, she hung up on me but I had 1/2 hour coming to me & only received 12 minutes. Got the phone bill today and was charged for 30 minutes.

I called the number to complain but all that happened is I got another lady who thought I was seeking a "good time" conversation. I assume I'll be charged additionally for another 30 minutes now.

What should I do? How do I get in touch with the managers at this 900 number without going through the beautiful girls assuming I'm looking for a "good time" conversation?

1st: You should pay your phone bill, not much else you can do, other than dispute it w/ the phone company.

2nd: You should go rent the movie PunchDrunk Love.

3rd: If after seeing the movie, you still want to call 900 #'s and speak with "lovely" "ladies" - it's all on you.

your best bet is to just avoid calling those numbers.
you can be certain you'll be getting another bill for the second call.
you obviously have a computer, why not just try to find a real girl (not just a faceless voice from some shady 900 number) to chat with? you're already paying for the internet so you might as well get your money's worth.
there are all kinds of women out there who you can talk to for free!

you could possibly go through the Better Business Bureau but I am not sure if there is one for 900# You can also dispute it with your phone service provider, they should be able to track exactly how long each call lasted. Of course to do this you will need to let them know that you did actually call, just got disconnected, hopefully you are confident in yourself enough that it would not prove to be embarrasing... Last option, google the # itself and see if it gives you anything!

First of all, you need to get out a little more. I know women who would talk dirty right to your face for the same or less amount of money. Anyhow, you would have to call your phone company and tell them that you where charged 30 min for a 12 min call. They may be able to connect you with a supervisor to the company. Good luck with that.

I don't think you get your money back , but try calling the better business bureau, they could use a good laugh over there.
