As you now know, the answer is .7 cm. The metric system is a base 10 system. 1 meter = 100 centimeters = 1000 milimeters, etc.

If you need to do conversions that you don't know about, search for the converters on the internet. A Yahoo search will turn up plenty of them for anything you need to convert.

There are 10 mm in a cm.
So divide by 10.
7/10 = 0.7

Thanks for standing up for the little guy, Isme M. Some people just don't realize that people of all ages use Yahoo Answers. I wouldn't want people making fun of me if I asked how to convert angstroms to nanometers, even if it is just as simple.
