Try adding L'Oreal springy curls moose after washing it, then either use foam rollers and let it dry naturally or let it dry then try curling it afterwards in loose sections and spritz it with hair spray to keep the curl. The moose helps the curl set, the hairspray will keep it in.

I have super straight hair as well and the salons I went to refused to do a perm on me. They were scared of damaging my hair. I just wanted it to be slightly wavy too, not super curly, so I doubt you'll benefit from a perm. When I use curling irons, I tend to have to slather on hair spray and gel in order to get the curls to stay, and even then I get this papery feel to my hair. The best thing I've found so far is to apply a bit of moose after a shower and to put my hair in curlers overnight. If you want loose curls, don't curl it too tightly. When I take them out in the morning, I loosen them slightly with my fingers. If it's too curly, I wet my fingers and loosen the curls some more. It's uncomfy to sleep in, but I do it once in a while. I haven't tried hot rollers, and scrunching never works for me! Nor does sleeping on my wet hair, unless I put my hair in loose buns, but that results in more waves than curls and can look super messy. Foam curlers are the cheapest way to go, and I think I get the best look from them.

My hair is very straight also, about a week ago, i got a really loose perm and love it and can still straighten it when I want to. Before I got the perm, I used a 3 barrel curling iron, gives mit more of a wavy look but still very cute. Last you could put curlers in it when u go to bed and in the morning have a head full of curls.

I have super straight hair too and I use hot rollers - get the ones that are all different sizes, spray the ends with gel or hairspray and curl up to your head. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, take down, spray lightly with hair spray (if you use too much, it will weigh down the curl).

You could get a perm though I would not recommend it you could use rollers or a curling iron. Isn't the case we all want what we do not have I would love straight hair that I did not have to fight for every morning.

I also have super strait hair that wont hold a curl, I have found it best to take a shower right before you go to bed and sleep on your wet hair! I get naturally curly hair and it's free!

Hope this helps!

scrunch it.. i do this all the time and its cute..

when you get out of the shower/bath put it in a towel for about 10 mins. then put some gel in it, i uaully use the herbal essence scrunching gel, or there are other kinds if you prefer.

Then load it down with hair spray and then blow dry it and it turns out curly.. i usually pin some of it back, or you can do whatever else you want.

its quick and easy, only takes about 10 mins, how ever long it takes to dry your hair.

DO NOT GET A PERM!!! This is dangerous and can permanently damage your hair. Try hot rollers or bendable rollers for curly hair (temporarily).

The best rollers for curls are the foam bendable sticks you can get them at target or walmart use on dry or on wet hair, I sleep in mine they are real comfy, they give you bouncy cork screw curls which can be left like that or comb out to wavy styles.

right after you wash it put gel or mouse but gel holds longer for me anyway and scrunch your hair like crazy do not brush until dry and do not use regular dryer on hair make sure you have a disfuser so you will not end up with poof instead of curls Good luck
