get your own place until you're married. Don't shack up with some boy you've only dated for a few months. Have more self-respect so that you don't act like an unpaid housekeeper who sleeps in the same bed.

That word strict totally ruined it for me.
Get away from him.
Figure out if that's his word or your perception of him, because if it's your problem and not his, then you will find only more controlling losers like him.
This is ridiculous, taht after all of this time after the liberation, tehre are still females willing to be dominated or even consider it.
I'm so glad you're not blind. You're waking up to it.
It's your life, it's your body, and if a man wants in, he'd better to everything to support you. You have the miracle of love and of life and of his future family in you. Don't ever let a man put you down.
You don't own him, but you come darned close when you own your power.

Get your own place honey! No-one should be allowed to put those kind of restrictions on you, and it could very likely lead to a very possesive (and maybe even violent) relationship. Take notice of the signs now, and if you choose to ignore them, if something does go wrong, you can't say there were no signs. Sorry to be so negative, but that's life!

girl...get your own place.
last year i did the same thing: moved in with my BF of only a few months that i was sooo in love with. yeah right. we leased an apartment in may. it's only february and i've already moved out on him. i think you should get your own place because he's telling you now that he's going to be "strict" with you. i don't know whether he wants to be your bf or daddy; but he should never feel that he can be "strict" with you. if he's this controlling now...it will only get worse once you get in the apt....then he will feel like he owns you. get your own place, baby girl. you can still see him. but this way, he won't feel like he can place rules and restrictions on you.

I'd get my own place. With those restrictions you might as well be living with your parents. Plus you've only been together 5 months. Staying for the weekend is one thing, but living together full time is a whole different ball game.

he is trying to run your life already and you two have only been together for 5 months, dont move in and get a NEW bloke. Parting with your friends and seeing your friends is good. Not the type of bloke to be with if he is going to tell you what you can and cant do.

Definitly don't move in with him. You've only knonw him for 5 months, and not only is that not long enough, but he sounds very possessive and controlling, which though cute in moderation are not fun to live with believe me.
His rules show that he is very afraid of you having other attachments. If you are determined to move in, make some things clear to him at the beginning- number one that you are your own woman, and not his play thing

I think after dating for 5 months it already seems like he would be very controlling if you were to live together...i would get your own place...you dont want to commit to anything with him that would be hard to get out of!

You are not going to marry the guy, yet he wants to behave as a father-figure towards you. This can't be good. You will be his slave.
Recommendation: ditch the boyfriend and get your own place.
