Which 1 is better? Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0, why? details please, thank you

I've used PhotoShop for years and each new version has updates which are quite useful. Just how useful to YOU is the question. An advanced user usually wants the newest upgrade. However, if you are a beginner it will probably be a while before you will appreciate the latest advances since it takes time just to become acquainted with the tools, layers, masks, etc.
No matter which version you work with, PhotoShop is an amazing program. I've loved every version I've ever used. And believe me, I'm still learning.

Surely photoshop cs2 9 will be better. You will get more feature in this version than photoshop 7. These features will make your task in photoshop easier.

The most recent version you can get is "usually" better.
Only because of the extra bells and whistles.
Although a good PS artist can make do with an older version.
It all comes down to how many of the bells and whistles youll use in the newset version.

photoshop CS3/ with lightroom
beats all the older stuff.
