I was once told that the best time to know if you're ready to date again is when you know you DO NOT need a man (or a date for that matter) to take your mind off the problem. It is a usual behavior to go back into the dating scene after a break-up...however, it only diverts you away from thinking about the problem but it does not solve the actual problem. In solving the actual problem, you need time to cry, mourn and discover simple happy things about yourself one at a time...your spirit needs to heal before you can again share a part of yourself with another person. When you're ready, you'll now. Magic.

It takes time to recover from a break-up. The worst thing to do would be to rush into anything right now. However, you should be social and try to meet some new people, men & women that is. Just try going out for coffee or lunch with someone so that way it's not a "date" and there won't be any pressure. Good Luck!!

been there done that... You need to first make sure you are totally over your guy.... if you are then you can move on... but do something you like to do or hang out with a group of friends. match is something if you want a short term relationships and yahoo and eharmony are some good places to start...

hope it helps.
