The Koran permits the husband to beat his wife, and there are lots of beatings of women legally, and I repeat, legally in Islam. And a verse in the Koran says that if you fear rebellion from women, banish them in bed, that means don't have sex with her as a punishment, and then beat them. In fact, in one of the translations, 'scourge' them. You can imagine. So if a Muslim man beats his wife, he would not feel guilty because the Koran permits him to do that.
when you come to the Bible, you read the words of apostle Paul, "Men love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her." Do you see the difference? Love is a sacrificial gift. In the Koran it says "beat your wife, banish her in bed." Two different standards. Then, when you come to inheritance in the Koran, the woman, the daughter will inherit half of what the son receives. If you have a son and a daughter, the son will have a full inheritance. The daughter will have only half of what your son will have. You, the wife of the Muslim, are under total control. She has no control on the body of her husband. But if you go to [1 Corinthians chapter 7], you read that the woman doesn't have authority over her body, but the husband. The husband doesn't have authority over his body but the wife, so it is equivalent.

Ha ha dont tell me your just finding out about this. Women are slaves in Islam They absolutely have no control over nothing. They are treated as 2nd hand beings.... and they dont dare to disobey. One was saying that his mother was treated like a queen...yeah right I bet... depends what the word 'queen' means to him. And what about when the man doesnt behave is the woman allowed to beat him too??

as soldiers in the military they get to see a lot of things in the Muslim countries like a husband accusing his wife of cheating an shooting her in the street and no one doing anything or a muslim trying to buy a female soldier off of her unit with some cattle. That last one was funny, the first one was extremely bad.

Yes, Koran 4:34 and 4:38. Then they say that Mohammed did a lot for women's rights. This admonition to beat a wife is horrific.

Yes. In Muslim countries women are often abused by their husbands and they don't dare complain. However, I know a black Muslim woman in New York whose husband beat her nearly every day; one day, she went crazy and beat him in the head with a frying pan until he passed out; then she called the cops.
I don't know how Muslim men get away with beating their wives..I will be afraid to beat a woman...any woman.

u will be surprise but these little things can increase the love and respect between a husband and a wife and save a whole family from getting destroyed. and Muhammad describe the beating by using four fingers and little spank on shoulders, Muhammad forbid the beating on face, or abuesing of any kind.

this is has rules in Islam. that if you fear your wife "neshooz" and neshooz is when ur wife act some how out of the ordinary such as humilate u infront of people, look at u down, yalling at you and not listening to you, don't respect you. so first thing advice them, they don't listen, then don't sleep with them, they don't listen, then beat them as i describe above. and this is not applied to all women. and my mother is treated like a queen at my home. peace

nice, so you left all the other things that the Quran talks about such as worship one God, give charity, kindness toward women, neighbours, poor, orphans...etc and picked that one from thousands of verses in the Quran?

God is the one who create men and women and he is well known with their secrets beings and their emotional behavior. even women sometime they don't understand themselves

Quran told us to love our wives as well:

[21] And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.
Quran 30:21

You didn't know that. Maybe you should have come here months ago.

Did you also know the Qur'an allows you to marry girl children who don't have a mensus, like Aishah, whom Muhammad married at 6 and mated at 9.

The Qur'an also blasts Christians for believing Jesus is the son of God.

It also advocates war and taxes against anyone who isn't Islamic.

It's all in there. Read the book!

Read the bible, read any religious text. They;'re old and conform to old rules in a patriarchal society. It's meant to be interpreted to fit the current society but some fundamentalist, both Christian and Islamic (and critics of both) try to take it literally.

Read the Koran yourself. It's beautiful.

Although I am neither a Christian or a Muslim, it is obvious that you have never read the Koran. It is my opinion that Paul was a very misogynistic person. Have a great day!
