Is this a good sign?

What the hell? Why are you stressing over something like that? Maybe because people go boating in the summer? and its too cold right now? I dont think he is trying to speak to you in subliminal messaging here.

Is it specific? Did he plan a day? Is it July 4th or a birthday or something? If so then it's not a big deal, except of course he wants to spend that special event with you. If it's just a normal outing then maybe it is a big deal. But it sounds to me he is being casual and did not set a date. IF you are still talking and IF he ever goes out on his boat THEN he would like it if you came. That's just casual conversation. He would ask you to go this weekend if it weren't so cold.

Don't overthink it.

He is putting you in the position of not being able to say no when he makes his advances. Do not go on that boat unless you are prepared to get intimate with him. Don't read more into it than necessary.

sounds like he is nervous, and he is looking for something to do with you. Doesnt seem like he has been with many women before. Be Forewarned, a fixation for a boat can have many implications. The first thing that comes to my head is that he wants sex but i doubt he will make the first move.

he might of asked just so he didnt forget. in his mind the boat trip sounds pretty cool and its hard to think of cool things to do. at least ones that both people can enjoy. im sure he would bring you out on the boat now, but depending where you are it might be kind of chilly.

Probably because it isn't good weather for boating, nothing wrong with it, best no to read too much into it x

It doesn't sound like planning a date or anything specific to me. I think he's being hypothetical to test the waters (no pun intended) to see if you are receptive to going out with him. Sounds like if you say yes to that, he'll ask you out on a date much, much sooner.

I'm not a guy, but it sounds like a trap to me. Of course he says it harmless fun but thats his way of getting you out in the middle of knowwhere. He'll probably have his friends hiding nearby. Use your imagination girl.

Nobody questions a rocking boat.

Maybe. Or maybe he just wanted an excuse to talk about his boat in order to impress you.
