A Lord owned a large beautifull land, which had many people living on it whom He loved. One day, the Lord decides to take a journey away from his land. He leaves no body in charge , because every body on the land are his children, both daughters and sons. As time goes by, some of the people begin to lose faith and fear, so much in fact, that they begin to believe that if they do not do certain things, they will be punished when there Father, the Lord, returns.

They give themselves the title of Leader, and begin to preach to others in the land, there belief s, and warn everyone that if they do not do as the Leader says , then there Father, the Lord, shall punish them when He returns.

Some begin to follow the Leader, and others decide not to, for they know How much there Father, the Lord truely loves them.

Yet the Leader and his followers, decide to banish those whom do not follow him, and throw others out of the land.

One day, the Lord of the land, there Father, finally Returns. And when He does, He notices that many of his children were not there.

Asking around , He finds out what happened, and therefore, brings forth to Him, the leader and all the leaders followers.

And the Lord, there Father, asks them ," You sent forth some of my children from there Home here in my land . Why did you do this?"

The leader and his followers answered," We did this for You, showing our love to you we did so in your name too , to cleanse your land my lord father."

With this, the Lord, Father got Very angery, " You did NOTHING for ME ! You have sent forth MY CHILDREN into Darkness and what s worse is You did so In my NAME !! For this YOU shall recieve the SAME punishment you gave those you judged."

And with that said, He banished the leader and all his followers , and threw them out of his land into darkness

As the Bible teaches, "Judge not lest you be judged by your Father which is in Heaven." Instead of asking the lord what he wanted them to do with these people they did not approve of in the land, they made their own judgment call all threw these other people out. We as His followers are quick to do the same sort of thing today as what you write about. We are only leaders because He lets us lead in His name and since it is in His name we lead, we need to know where He wants us to lead them. All of us are guilty of taking charge of our roles that way and thinking since we want to do this for our Lord, He will be pleased by the gesture. We must first follow where He leads and know it is His will that none perish. It is up to each individual to chose good or evil, not ours to dictate at all for anyone else.

I see you are tryint o make a point here,,,,,,,,but not a good message. The Lord is forgiving.he doesnt just punish everyone and throw them in darkness.
I looked at ur story in a different way......the good ppl shouldnt have thrown out the bad ppl or hurt them(like how its going on these days in the name of Lord)......instead,,they shld have tried to make them understand and remain good.n if still they were not listening,,,,,they shld have just ignored them(let others live and follow their own beliefs). LET THE LORD COME AND DECIDE WAT TO DO WITH THE BAD KIDS.

Nice story... but the Old Testament tells stories of this 'loving' father killing tribes, cities, the whole world at one point. And, I read that on my own. Misled 'teachers' didn't turn me away/run me off.
Jesus lost his temper once in a while but I'd say normally, he set a pretty good example. Therefore, he must have been speaking of another God as his father, otherwise, he was a rebellious son.

I think I need to knock it off because its not a very good parallel to your god.

And btw, if a Lord did that in this day and age and banned all his children for choosing another leader because he couldn't be bothered to come home and do the work needed himself? He'd not be allowed back. PERIOD. Because he abandoned his children. And you know how deadbeat fathers are viewed, don't you? Deadbeat fathers are viewed as despicable and disgusting and treated as the scum of the earth.

So next time think before you post because your little post doesn't fit with modern thinking.

A leader must lead, not run off to persue his own agenda then expect everything to be there, just the way he left it, when he returns.

Nice one. Except, I think that, the Father being a forgiving and loving parent, would teach them the error of their ways instead and instruct them to help him find the ones they banished.

Very nice. That is exactly why it is not our job to judge and condemn, Thank God. Unfortunately this happens a lot to those who think they are doing right, but actually doing more harm then good. I did enjoy the story, very good comparison to our lives

What's the question that you want answered ? You did ask for a definition of something or other. What ?
Anyway, I did read your story, don't expect too much of it.

It makes the lord seem much more reasonable than the Christian god.
