Taxfreedom.com is free to most lower income filers. It uses Turbo tax on the web and files both federal and state returns electronically for you.

Turbo Tax free version is ok, but it won't help you file your state taxes, neither will IRS.com. I used the store version of Turbotax and shared it with my brother and boyfriend. It's about $44 and if you have someone close to share it it's half that, just make sure it' someone you trust a lot becuase they will have acess to all your info.

I don't know where you can pay by using your savings account, but I filed my taxes thru H&R Block online & it is FREE. It checks for errors, too. See link below...

H & R Block was great when I e-filed. It lets you pay for your taxes out of any bank account or credit card you choose.

I used TaxAct.com You can have the fee taken right out of your account or out of your return. It is $15.95 to file both my Federal $9.95 and State $6.00, turbo tax was trying to charge me 55.95 to file. Good Luck.

Yes it is! You should go to www.irs.gov and click the e-file link, then select the option that reads find the best site for me. From there they will ask you a few simple questions to determine the best site for you to use!
Good luck!

For both Federal and State, use the IRS site; it's free. Note that this is NOT IRS.com
http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0,,id=97915,00.html
Note that not all states do both; here's the list of those that do:

You can use Turbo Tax. You either have it taken out of your refund or pay however you want. Hope that helps.
