i accidentally deleted an important file from my pc.. its the file for my printer and i loss my cd.. i tried looking into my recycle bin but it wasnt there.. is there anywhere i could look for it or is it all gone? like a autobackup or a second recycle bin were files deleted from recycle bin goes? please help.. thanks!

Technically it might be possible to retrieve the file using special software that you must buy. However, manufacturers keep these printer installation and driver files on their websites for download. All you need to do is look at your make and model and go to the manufacturer's website (look on google if you do not know). Then go through the menus and download it. Then reinstall your printer. Solved.

forget looking for the deleted file. Simply go to the printer manufacturer's web site, or search using printer name and model and the term 'software downloads'. You will be able to download and re-install the printer driver, and it will provide instructions to help.

You will need to go to the manufacturer of your printer and download the driver for your printer. go to their support tab and you will have to enter your model number to find the right driver.

Have you created a checkpoint for restore system if you havent then you cant get it back if you have, and whenever you created it the comp will rewind back to that day if you have do this....
Start >>> All Programs >>> Accessories >>> System Tools >>> System Restore.
