I would like to do something sort of personal and intimate. He's a great guy, and I want my gift to say that I love and appreciate him more than he knows. I would also like to combine his birthday and valentines day gifts together since the dates are so close to one another. I was thinking cake, card, bear, and chocolates, but isn't thats just too typical. Help!!!

When I was a kid I had no money, but I often felt bad about not getting my Mom or Dad anything for a specific holiday; therefore, I would make them something special. I will tell you what I made; if you promise not to tell anyone else about this gift.......Here we go. I would take a small soda bottle (12 oz or so) and put masking tape on it. You need to cover the entire bottle (you can take the label off the can or leave it on. You decide). Then get some black or brown shoe polish and cover the entire bottle with it. Tell the person your giving it to it's a pencil holder. I gave that to my parents when I was 6 years old and they told me they loved it. It's a great gift because you can find all those things in your house and it wont cost you any money.
If you have no shoe polish you can use spray paint. The shoe polish is nice because then it's the gift that keeps on giving. Every time they pick it up or touch it the shoe polish will rube off on their hands and they'll remember you.

what about you make him dinner. You could get some candles put soft music on and be on your own in a romantic setting. Then you two could have a nice bubble bath together and relax sipping wine or something you both like to drink.
He will/should really appreciate the effort you have put into it and it show him how much you do love him and care for him.

typical may be what you think but nothing says i love you like chocolates and a cared. to make it more of a special day cook him a wonderful meal with just the things that are in the kitchen you don't have to go buy any thing unless you want to, make the dinner for him because you made it, find out what are his favorite foods and just cook it for him.

Bring another woman into the bedroom. Might get some vibrators or my wife's favorite to use on her framle friends (The Rabbit), You can put it in her vagina and anus at the same time. There's nothing wrong with with what you're calling "typical". You'd like it, wouldn't you? Expensive gifts are nice, but not everybody can afford a new H2 every holiday...so be realistic. What he wants is you, your warmth and affection...it's so easy to do. It doesn't have to be perfect...just sincere.

Make him a reallly cute dinner. Make a card and write in it how you feel about him and all that stuff. Maybe you could watch your favorite romantic movie. Just some ideas. good luck!

Men usually don't like stuffed animals (unless he is five years old or younger), and cards often don't phase us much either.
Try cooking dinner for him. It is usually cheeper than a restaurant, and it always impressed me! Men always like food.
