Find the rewards that really motivate her: sticker chart, small toys, pretty panties, extra stories, M&Ms, whatever. My little girl refused to train until I found Princess sippy cups. She earned one the first day. We love the Elmo video, wetting Elmo doll and a potty book that makes a flushing sound. Forget about Pull-ups during the day. Panties will help her learn when she has peed, and the characters are big motivators. Just remember to clean up her messes without getting upset or angry and praise her for getting to the potty in time. You'll have a potty princess soon!

I would just use a toliet not a potty chair. No big deal no big fuss.Just do it like they use to,toiliet train the kid and get it over with.No begging and pleading,no brivery,no fancy panties,no stickers, toys.Im 38 and people my age got toliet trained without all the bs parents go through today to toliet train their kids.It use to be sit your kid on the toliet and teach them now it lets go find a pretty little potty chair, fancy panties, toys, candy,a bike, stickers etc.............How times has changed.Thats why kids dont listen now a days.No candy, toy, reward they wont listen.I toilet trained 6 boys.My youngest is 26 months. He was toliet trained in almost 3 weeks at 22 months of age without rewards, yelling or hitting. My others got toliet trained even faster then my youngest.Good luck.Verbaly telling the toddler how happy you are when she uses the toliet will get you alot furthur then giving gifts and rewards everytime she uses the toliet.I have not met a 2 year old that dont want to make their mother or father happy and they will go to great distance to please their parents.

My advice to you being that I take care of 7 kids ranging in ages 13-2 , is that dont push it on her , you will know if she is ready ( if she takes her diaper off , knows when she is wet and if she shows interest of the toilet.) A 2 year old child really has no control over her bladder , she may or may not have matured in that area yet. I would try it for a couple of weeks ( put her on the potty for about 2-5 mins. max. but dont over do it. Make it as fun as possible for her by incorporating books , toys, video's ect. ) If she hasnt shown any progress then maybe she isnt ready. Also , she may be ready if she is able to say "potty" "pee pee" "poop poop" ect. Good Luck !

girls are easier than boys to train. I have both. what we did was leave her naked. let her know that if she has to go potty that it has to be in the toliet. get her a step so she can get up there to sit. and after dinner or lunch and first thing when she wakes up lead her to the potty. the reason why you leave her naked is because she wont want to pee on the floor so she will put things together and know where to go. we had to do that 3 days and she was good to go. the only hard part is that if you go to a restruant or outside the house you have to show her where the potty is and teach her to tell you when she has to go, Boys on the other hand is a new ball game. lol good luck

I would start by having a regular time to sit on the potty, like before bed or after lunch...but it she refuses, don't push it. She's young. At her age, she isn't going to be into stickers rewards or anything. I would just matter-of-factly introduce the potty and the idea of sitting on it, and not make a huge fuss whether she ever goes in it or not. And I would stay away from the pull-ups...once they get used to them, they never want to give them up!

The LAST factor a little one demands is a dog. Two-12 months-olds are essentially the most self-established beings on this planet. This is the degree in lifestyles while you could desire to undertake a five or six 12 months ancient retriever who has enjoy with young children. The puppy will understand how to react and shall be too colossal for the little one to reason her any huge quantity of ache. You desire a relaxed puppy who isn't prone to chew whilst the child bashes the puppy over the top with a toy. Confine your breed hunt to those: Newfoundland, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever. Good success.

We always made a game out of it. When she actually uses the potty make up a funny song and sing it in celebration. Eventually they want to go to potty to hear the song and see the celebration. It has to be fun to go and no penalties for not using the potty except no celebration.

Make it fun for her ....Get videos for her like the Elmo potty time video...and there is another one called Once upon a potty. Good Luck as long as you are consistent you shouldn't have a problem.

It's very hard to find them, but we used silk panties when we trained my neices. They wet their pants once and hated the feeling of the wet silk and never did it again. But with my nephew we couldn't find any when we started training him (found some after but not before) we just took him to the bathroom every 30 minutes or so for about a few days and then we started taking a little longer and then we got to where we would ask him and he would tell us and if he did wet his pants we would swat him on the butt (not hard, it just hurt his feelings not him) but he didn't like that and he quit in about 2 weeks if it was that long.
