Do you believe that we'll be reunited with our loved ones and that we will recognize them as being part of our previous life?

Or will we just see everyone as being children of God and not recognize anyone individually?

Yes. The Thessalonian Christians were apparently very concerned about their Christian loved ones who had died. They expressed their concern to the apostle Paul. So, in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Paul deals with the "dead in Christ" and assures the Thessalonian Christians that there will indeed be a reunion. And yes, believers will recognize their loved ones in the eternal state.
We are told in 2 Samuel 12:23 that David knew he would be reunited with his deceased son in heaven. He had no doubt about recognizing him. As well when Moses and Elijah (who had long passed from earthly life) appeared to Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration (Mat 17:1-8), they were recognized by all who were present. Furthermore, in Jesus' story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31, the rich man, Lazarus, and Abraham were all recognized by each other in the intermediate state.

Richard Sigmund has written a book: A Place Called Heaven.

In it, he details his experience in Heaven while he was dead (he was dead for 8 hours before coming back to life).

The book talks about recognizing others.

In addition, Percy Collett spent time in heaven. His audio testimony is heard on www.SpiritLessons.com (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

When Jesus told the story of the poor beggar named Lazarus and the rich man, who after both died, the rich man went to hades and Lazarus went to paradise, the rich man was able to recognize Abraham, Lazarus, remember he had family on earth, was in torment, thirsty and could communicate in the spirit realm with Abraham.

I'm not sure but I think we will recognize people but see them in a different way. We won't have the "earthly" version of people in mind anymore. We will all be brothers and sisters, even with our parents, grandparents, children and enemies because it's all about God and not us. That sounds impossible even as I write it but it's how I feel.

May God Bless you.

Near death experiences have stated that those relatives that made it to heaven greet you at the entrance of heaven, what happens after that is a mystery.
