Septics must conform to code, and I have never heard of any code that would allow for wooden holding tanks. Nor would a wooden toilet and tank be feasible, but if it were you would need a marine type wood, like teak or mahogany. There are some gravity type tanks that have oak type coverings of porcelain insides and oak toilet seats.

That wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. The wood would eventually rot and would stand a very good chance of leaking.

Wood is porous and would absorb the human wastes; therefore, it would be unsanitary. Better to use porcelain. You can get a wooden seat and/or tank cover.

I don't think you can because wood toilets aren't sanitary.
