I've recently broken up with my bf. He's British, but from Africa.
He kept looking for other women during our relationship, had phone sex with his ex, after breaking up, he called my friend to have a sex. Somebody told me it is very normal to African male. Is that true?

You can't generalize on these issues and say 'All African Black men' since that is not true. However yes, it is a well known stereotype that African men, tend to cheat on their girlfriends far more, and to treat them worse, simply because that is the culture they have grown up in, where woman are not worth very much at all unfortunately. It's a matter of education, and how willing they are to follow trends.

I have male black friends who would never cheat on anyone, and who are the most decent people I know. But I also know very very many, who see nothing wrong in having more than one girl, since sex is pre-eminent in their lives.

Woman have no value in African culture. Man is the king who can do and say whatever he wants and he don't need to explain his actions to woman. Woman instead need to take all the bad treatment and behave good no matter what. I have been in relationship with black guy who behaved exactly like this. He behaved as king giving me emotional punishments whenever he felt I didn't behave as he wanted and this meant asking wrong question at the wrong time or not doing something he asked right away ect. He also had the right to flirt with other girls but I was not allowed to talk with any other men. Black men are control freaks who think they are the kings in relationship.

Of course there are good black men out there but they are like black diamonds. Difficult to find.

There is some truth in that the stereotypical African male likes to make lots of women pregnant and not stick around or contribute to the baby and they call these women their baby mothers. And they are not fussy.

I believe so I have heard this before, I actually dated an African for a very short time and they are very possessive but they can flirt whenever they please and they don't hide it pretty disrespectful, but i believe it is just a part of where they come from. Good luck if you are planning on getting back with the guy.

In some ethnic cultures women are still regarded as inferior but I don't think it's fair to generalise. I did personally experience some of this in Africa, but as I say, one can't generalise...I've met a few white men who are the same!

There are good and bad men of every race and it is not normal for African or Black men to mistreat their women.

In my opinion men treats a women according to how she allows him to treat her, no matter what racial background he's from. From the sounds of it, he did not respect or care for you. Good to know he is the case of a ex, good riddance.

No, that's not true - it's a racialist stereotype.

There are abusive men in all races and from every continent.

The problem was not that your ex boyfriend was African - the problem was that he was a perverted sexist jerk. You'll find English and Pakistani guys just like him. No race has a monopoly on acting like assholes.
