I want to go to WVU next year for my Masters but am unsure how expensive it will really be. This is mostly because I don't know how much money you can borrow each semester on top of tuition costs. This is the main problem because I have a family now and need enough money to at least pay my bills and everything else.

For the 2006-2007 school year, it cost $17,182 for all expenses to attend WVU including Tuition & fees, books & supplies, room & board, transportation, and personal expenses. However, the amount is not set for the 2007-2008 school year.

Regarding financial aid at WVU, they do have some graduate school scholarships. It is important to apply for financial aid before March 1. The work study program extends to graduate school. Also the graduate assistant program can help minimize the costs, too.

I also recommend joining and searching via a free membership scholarship search website. There is a small number of outside scholarships for graduate students compared to high school graduates.

Good luck!

get on their website and see if you can find tuition costs. then, contact the financial aid office and speak or make an appointment with the financial aid officer. you can borrow the entire amount, but see if you are eligible for aid, grants, scholarships first before you take out a loan. ir, take a year off, work and earn the money to help offset the cost.
