anihilation means you cease existing along with this Earth, when i say eternity, i mean getting immortalized and live on the New Earth and get to
1. Build your own home and plant your own garden (Isaiah 65:21, 22)
2. Have a city mansion built by Christ (John 14:1-3.)
3. Sing and play heavenly music (Isaiah 35:10; 51:11; Psalm 87:7; Revelation 14:2, 3).
4. Worship before God's throne every Sabbath (Isaiah 66:22, 23).
5. Enjoy never-fading flowers and trees (Ezekiel 47:12; Isaiah 35:1, 2).
6. Meeting loved ones, patriarchs, prophets, angels etc. (Matthew 8:11; Revelation 7:9-17).
7. Study the animals of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25).
8. Fly and explore wonders of the universe without getting tired (Isaiah 40:31).
9. Listen to God sing (Zephaniah 3:17).
10. Realize fondest ambitions (Psalm 37:3, 4; Isaiah 65:24).
11. Being with Jesus (Revelation 14:4; 22:4; 21:3; 1 John 3:2).

Eternity would surley be torture if you don't like it, that's why eternal death is an option, proof of God's mercy :)

There is no such thing as ceasing to exist. Every soul is eternal and never ceases to exist. How one spends their eternity is up to each soul, but there is no annihilation, nor literal lake of fire. The lake of fire is simply the subconscious mind's area of repression, the "id" ... Hell is a state of consciousness - remorse, self-condemnation, guilt and frustration.

You mean which would I prefer or which do I think is more realistic?
Well I think that the Annihilation (as you so flamboyantly put it) is more likely, but as far as my preference….
I’ve never completely made up my mind and probably never will as I’ve given it much thought. Sure I would like more than the 70 or 80 years I get here on earth, sure I’d like more time, but that is not to say I’ll get it just because I want it. I certainly don’t want eternity. That would be torture after a while.

I'm not sure what the hell you're asking and appearantly, no one else does either. But I see the jest of what you're pointing towards.
Lets look at all the "failed religions" over the time of man. How many failed religions you ask? I'd bet millions. We call the older religions of Norse, Zues, and all the others "myths" just as in 3,000 years they'll call christianity a "myth" so, the real question is, if in god time(according to YOUR bible) our lives are but a "whisp of smoke" how can you revolve your whisp of smoke around what you've been lead to believe in such a short time?

Hey, I've already begun living my life abundant now! Praise God, and I am so looking forward to a forever life Jesus has promised.
I know this that in His perfect plan, there will never be a dull moment, or a second's regret for having chosen to spend my life with Him.

I'd prefer if there was an eternity....but I'd also prefer to win the lottery and have polygamous marriages to Sarah Silverman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek, and Tina Fey........my preference for an eternity does not make it exist.

Annihilation/Hell.
I will not serve the Christian/Muslim concept of God as it is an immoral, hateful, cruel, and unjust being.
My morals are far, FAR more important to me.
