Help! I'm doing my own taxes for the first time and I'm totally lost :(

Taxable interest will not be on your W2. You will need to contact your bank or Savings & Loan to find out how much taxable interest you had for the past year. If you did not have any interest bearing accounts or CD's, you probably won't have anything to report.

Interest is not reported on Form W2. You will receive a Form 1099INT from your bank for interest you received.
