alopecia areata questions?

i have alopecia areata and i want to know how long it last... it comes every year...when will it stop? any other info???

it's a genetic disease. It may come and go, but it never completely goes away. check out http://www.naaf.org for great info.

if you only have bald spots, they may be caused by stress. if you can limit the stress, you might not have hair loss. no one can predict when or where or how long. hope these links help.
