Hi! I have 2 children and one on the way and all my doctors have told me that the longer the teeth stay in the gums the stronger and healthier they will be. So it's a very good thing that her teeth are taking so long to come in.

Please don't take this the wrong way:
There is absolutely nothing you can do to make those teeth pop through any sooner than they're already going to, so this is definately one of those things that you should just stop worrying about altogether.
Okay, to answer your actual question, it's not abnormal in any way for a ten month old to not have many teeth. My niece is 17 months old and has only a few teeth herself. My kids teethed pretty early, but with my niece, her pediatrician said that if she doesn't get any (not "all" or "most") teeth by the time she was 18 months, she may need to see a dentist.
There is no possible way to tell you when your daughter will get her third, fourth, fifth, and beyond teeth. Not even a way to guestimate it.
Any time I complained to my mom about how my kids weren't doing something "on time", her response was "He won't be the only kid in kindergarten who..........."
Your daughter won't be the only kid in kindergarten with two teeth.

M'dear don't worry about it. You can't time the teeth. It's like growing, your body has spurts, it's apart of life. I'm sure the teeth will come in and in good time.
Look at in a good way.... Her teeth to a point will be healthier. The reason behind that is because we expose our teeth to junk and sweets on a daily basis. So since your little ones teeth haven't yet been exposed to that her teeth will be healthier because they are still in there natural setting.
Hope this helps, but again DON'T worry! It's normal

Who knows when she'll get more? It's all personal.
My oldest two didn't get their first tooth until their first birthday. They were also MUCH later to lose baby teeth, seven years old to the day on both of them, and my oldest is 12 and still has baby teeth to lose. It's really kept his spacing very well, and his teeth are in great shape. The same for number two, her teeth had a lot of potential for problems because the roots are crooked, but losing them late and slowly has really forced adult teeth to grow in wonderfully. The younger were more typical in development, and their teeth look fine too. Goes to show you that it's all personal.
Congrats on your girl! Almost a year old.

Dont worry to much about it my son is almost 16 months and he only has four teeth. When I took him to his 15 month check-up I asked his doctor if we should be worried about him only having four teeth. He said not to worry about it as all children get there teeth at their own pace. I know how you feel but dont worry she will get them in when it is time. Ive also heard that the later they get their teeth the better it is because they are not exposed to the bottle for as long of a period of time.

Both of my kids didn't start getting there teeth until their first b-day. I was so nervous!!! Even though they started late they have all their teeth and they are fine. All babies are different, don't worry I'm sure they'll come in real soon. :)

I nursed my daughter and it toughened up her gums so that she actually walked before she had teeth! The dentist told me the later they come in the later she will loose them. It's normal, they might come in 4 at a time like my daughters did.
