This guy that I like sent me a text message to "call anytime".
When I asked why he wouldn't call me, he just said he's not much of a calling person. But,....he wanted me to "call anytime". Does this mean anything? He seems so excited when I call him. Why would he want me to call him and he not want to call me?

Nah, I think he is an ego driven control freak. Don't call him at all. For a while. If he wants you bad enough, he'll be humbled into calling you. Otherwise, no big loss.

well some people don't like to call others just for the fact that they afraid that if they call and u r busy and u say something like " i am busy right now can i call u back" might make them feel embarrass. i am kind of like that, i don't like to interfere, nor bother someone while they are doing something. i feel better when they call me in their free time. so if u can call him just do it.

Guys are soo strange sometimes. A lot of times they want to know that you are into them. They do this by putting out a little bait. That and he probably isn't a phone guy.

Not really sure what this geezers up to with you. try not callin him an see if he calls you. he might simply be too cheap to top u his phone.

I think it means he is simply not a calling person.
He's trying to tell you he is available to you anytime.
As your relationship progresses, he'll begin calling you too.
