I was talking to this attractive girl one time at a club and as she opened up her purse to get a pen to write down her number, I saw a pack of cigarette and the feeling I got from that instant was like she's taking something that's not good for her. Kind of like seeing someone with prescription drug in her purse and you wonder "I wonder what kind of health issue this person has?" So cigarette is even worse! It's that nasty feeling I get when I see that pack right there in the purse. I dont' even know why they have to smoke to begin with anyway. It's the nastiest thing to do for your only precious body.

I do understand what you are saying, I am a smoker. I have smoked for 35yrs,I lit my first one at 15 and never stopped. Couldn't find that extra bit of courage, still haven't been able to quit, even though I want to. My mother had lung cancer(very early stage)and she smoked all the way through chemo and radiation. She still smokes, she is 73 and smoked since she was 13.It is a devastating addiction,I've been able to cut way back4-5 cigs a day,but not completly.I will do it though, the rainbow is very close now,I know I can reach it. Thanks for your comment,it made me think.

I would like to expand on Violet Pearl's answer. Smoking not only put MY health at risk, but also that of my family and friends. They are most important to me. That is why I quit.

That's funny- one of the reasons I quit smoking was because I became aware of the fact that my smoking was advertising to the world that 1-I didn't care about myself and 2-I was willing to harm my health. To me, lighting a smoke told everyone how I felt about myself. So I quit.
