Two years of a biology degree in University. Graduated with an Administrative Assistant degree (specialties in Law and Medical) from College.

I work at the front desk of a hotel.

So, I suppose. I use the most basic skills of what I learned.

The problem is the market in this city. There's only around 80 000 people and at least 30 new people graduate from the college with this degree every year. There aren't enough jobs for the new people entering into the market if you add in the new people moving into the city (city's growing fast).

I've been hearing for a long time that I'm not the only one thats been having a problem finding a job. And the excuse is always the same "You don't have experience".

Whats worse is even people that have 20 years of experience are having trouble finding jobs.

The city's growing massively fast but its growing in the lower sector the most. Things like food service and retail. Those jobs don't pay nearly enough money but they're desperate for employees and you see "now hiring" everywhere.

I'm also limited in the fact that I had a car accident in 2004 that makes it impossible for me to have a job that has me stand for over three hours at a time. I need to be able to work in a job where I can sit because I can barely move after 8 hours of standing and am almost in tears. Which makes secretarial perfect. But, if I can't find a job in it because the markets flooded, well thats problem I'd say.

The only way I'm going to go anywhere is if I move to another city. Which will happen soon enough. Its more a matter of finding a job that will support me until then.

I love the hotel, really love it. And, in every way but money, it suits me perfectly.

I'm not sure what I'll do right now.

A full time barber (no, I do not do women's hair, that's cosmetology, and yes, there's a huge difference between the two trades).

A part-time student, philosophy, undergraduate studies. Thinking of a minor, but not sure which, as a supplement to philosophy.

If life permitted, I'd be an unemployed full-time student--NOT REALITY, and a wealthy and generous grandmother would suffice in this instance.

Thanks for the question, though.
