I do not want to sound negative here, I know that love was not taught to me from my family. I am considered the black sheep, of who is never mention to anyone else.
As to who taught me to love, I can only respond this way:
I am what I am, I believe what I believe, it is my belief and that is my belief!
Great question! You get a star.

Love is a free add-on you get with a soul. So every soul is configured to love.

I taught myself love, after continuously wishing there was a lady out there of true love in return. dreaming of what it is, teaches me what to be of it.

The English language is so inadequate.
There are several different words in Greek that we simply translate "love."
Which love to you mean? (You've mentioned two, are we to limit ourselves to just those?)
