I would recommend pink and dove grey over the silver personally. The metallic shiny silver as one of the main colors might be a bit too 1980's. I would also go softer on the pink color, no Fushia or shocking pink.

YOU do whatever YOU want! there is no set type of color you have to do for a certain time of year.

pink and silver are great! i did very bright colors with my flowers pinks, tangerines, yellows. i figured hey this is a celebration and i want to have some fun. the bridesmaids worn tangerine dresses with a pink trim(sounds bad but looked great)

do what you want, and if others don't like it then don't worry - it is your day not theirs :)

The silver seems wintery to me. But I like the pink. Maybe pink and white?

I really don't think there are really any set rules to wedding color etiquette anymore. It is your wedding, if you like those colors go with it, it is your day to plan and remember. Have a lovely wedding.

Pink's a good colour but I dont think you should have silver. Its a bit too cold for May. I prefer white maybe with silver decorations?
