Yes, call the vet immediately.

Diarrhea that lasts for 24 hours is dangerous as it can lead to dehydration. Bloody stool could be from the diarrhea causing irritation to the bowels, but coupled with pain in the abdomen, he could be having some serious problems which would require a vet exam.

Call now.

Definitely take him to the vet. Our dog also had some blood in her stools (although I'm not sure she had abdomen pain). Anyhow, the vet prescribed some medicine, and the blood cleared up and her stools returned to normal. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious. However, blood in stools can mean something really serious. You REALLY need to take your dog to the vet as soon as possible. Good luck!

Has he ever been vaccinated for Parvo? If not, get him to the vet ASAP. If he's a puppy and is diagnosed with Parvo, his outlook is not very good. If he's a healthy adult, he may have a chance.

Parvo is spread by fecal matter, which is why it is so important to pick up after your dog. I lost a puppy to Parvo only a week after bringing him home. We hadn't even had a chance to schedule his first vet visit to get his shots. He either got it from the breeder or he picked it up at our residence property. In either case it started with runny stools with blood and eventually vomiting and the vet could not save him. Parvo attacks the intestines leaving the dog unable to eat or drink, but they pass blood through their stools.

I hope it's nothing major and your dog gets better soon.

Bloody stool is never a good sign. The poor dog must be suffering. Take him to a vet as others have suggested and get him checked.

ummmmm ya!!!!!!!!!! Take the dog to the vet. He prob has worm's in his stomach or worse. Get the dog there asap.

He might of chewed something that the dog cant pass so that is why the stool is so loose. To let the dog get to that state is kinda neglectful.

Whenever it comes to seeing blood in their urine OR stool - it's an IMMEDIATE rush to the vet. This is NOT something you want to second guess. It could be worms and at the point of bleeding - it's BAD!! May God heal your dog soon!
