Simple. Don't give him your special lady parts yet dum dum. He is just telling you what you want to hear to get into your pants.

Of course, wemen these days are sexually liberated, so the women here will say that its AOK and he will be a notch on your belt instead.

If you don't want to be another notch on his belt, then you'll have to answer these questions to yourself:
1. Is he ok to just be friends?
2. Is he worth salvaging - in the long run?
There's no middle ground here because as far as he's concerned, you already have an idea about his intentions. The best way is to let him know that being physical is not where you are interested in being at this time.
If he respects you, he'll keep your friendship.
If he doesn't, then he'll sabotage the friendship for a number of reasons.
Either way - are you prepared to invest time/emotion into developing him where YOU need him to be? If not, keep it moving..

One love.................

Put him on the leash. You know the normal, keep him with you all times and get mad at him when hes talking to another because hes going to think its alright with you to talk to another gurl and eventually he'll be with someone else. But like what everyone else said test him. Lead him on but don't give in and see how he acts, that should give you the answer.

Geez, how do I communicate my intentions without communication? Sounds like a bad kung-fu movie. It's called tact...use it. Clearly there are constructive and effective ways to say this without coming off as a harpy, but you need to speak your mind.

If you don't want to tell him strait out, them give him little hints. I'm a little confused w/ the question, but, it sounds important. Make sure that he treats you right.

Then, don't become one. Make sure your intentions are heard loud and clear, without being bitchy. The minute he disrespects you walk away without looking back, and hold no grudges.

When you are around him maybe grab his hands and arms occasionally. Laugh when he tells jokes and look him in the eyes.
