You are right but going for substance instead of looks comes with maturity. All girls like the good looking bad boys but I think women prefer a man of integrity and character.
May God Bless you.

No, not at all. Look at some churches--they're like fashion shows! I've seen conservative Muslim women attempt to outdo each other with designer hijabs and wraps, and Orthodox Jewish women compete to see who can look best within their many rules. Atheist and agnostic women can be vain, too. I think it just cuts across the groups. If you want a woman who isn't caught up in her looks, look for that as well as a religious affiliation.

Women are women no matter what they believe, and guys will never be able to figure them out. With that said, a religious woman is more likely, in general, to end a relationship if the guy is not of the same belief system than a non-religious woman. (Who really wants to live the rest of your life with someone that doesn't believe in the same things as you?) But if you have not beliefs, then it probably wouldn't bother you as bad.

As a Christian man, I would first comment that I am just as sinfully vain as unbelieving men. The difference may be I am committed to follow my Lord Jesus Christ, and as such I recognize the struggle within my heart to put pride and vanity to death - I struggle, whereas before Christ saved me, I didn't struggle against my vanity but rather embraced it.
This causes me to be as vain and attracted to physical appearance as other men. But I realize the outward shell is fleeting and dying away, and I value the inner person in Christ in ways that were impossible for me before I was saved.
I would presume that Christian sisters (a better term I think than 'religious women') have the exact same inner struggle (after all, vanity is a human thing, not a male or female thing). But they bear the additional burden of a culture that constantly shouts at them that their entire value is based upon looks, being thin, outward appearance, vanity. They see undeserving pretty peers get promotions, raises, doors opened, etc. They see pretty, conniving schemers able to manipulate drooling men to do all sorts of things. And after a while that begins to mess with your head and your self-perception.
Our sisters wage a daily war with the culture that we men do not have the capacity to understand. Perhaps that's why you see some of the things you've seen in your experience.
Great question. Best to you.

On the contrary, I feel that "religious" women are more vain because they believe they are "saved" and have "something over you" if you're not "saved" (in their eyes). I've experienced this theological narcissism from fundamentalist Christians more than any other religious group. They certainly tend to have an air of elitism.

adult adult males. They assume lots. women individuals purely seem ineffective because of the fact they bypass to plenty worry to make an outstanding effect. yet I reckon that's merely because of the fact maximum of them are the two genetically programmed, or socially formed, to lack the boldness they could have. that's stupid, because of the fact for all their fluttering maximum women individuals can take care of certainty lots extra effective whilst they could gain this than maximum adult adult males can. seem at childbirth, elevating young infants, and working a family members and a job on the comparable time!

You don't look at someone and say "Wow, their beliefs make me really hot!" Attraction is visual first, not religious.
