As this is in Australia & New Zealand section, I am assuming that "here" is Australia unless of course you think that Yahoo!Answers only exists in your country (which will only show that you are not as smart as you think you are)
If I am an Aussie then why shouldn't I be here? How can one be an Aussie and work illegally? Why would I need a visa if I am an Aussie - it is my own country.

I've got one in my house! He's a friend of my housemates'! He is not working, but is overstaying as his visa expired before Christmas.
He has been "couch-surfing" AKA "dossing" at my house since the first week in November, WHICH IS THREE WHOLE MONTHS NOW. He says that he is leaving next weekend, but if he doesn't go, can you come and sort him out? Pretty please?
I also know a New Zealander who has been working here illegally for two years, as his visa expired and he doesn't want to leave.
