It's actually called MOTOR Neuron Disease - it's a disease that affects your brain, so that eventually it impairs movement, speech & the ability to have a normal life, ultimately ending in death.

motor neurone disease isn't infectious, it's a brain stem dissorder that is untreatable, sorry if you know someone with it. It killed my dad 15 years ago.
