Ebay... you would be suprised at how nice some of these dresses truely are... and how extravagent...
Or you can buy one from a second hand store in you neighborhood...
Be carefull with davids bridal.. there $99 dollar sale is a joke.... alot of those dresses are damaged, thats if you can even get a sales rep to take care of you..
You can borrow one, from a friend.. maybe your mom or mom in law still has theres..
You can even rent a designer one now a days... but it will probally run you more than $100 if you have to have it altered
Or you can prom it... there are alot of prom dresses that look like wedding dresses...
Good luck and Congrats!

Davids and ebay are you best for quick results. You can always try consignment shops and thiftstore but it can be a let down to find nothing but garbage.
Davids has a lot of dresses for $99 plus tax- good selection, I was actually surprised.
Ebay- used dresses go for good prices as well.
Also depends on what style you want- I had a friend buy a white prom dress at Deb shop for $50 on clearance. Another friend I know bought a white with gold accents evening dress at Boscov's for $25 (on clearance)!!! If you have time, wait till after prom season and hit the stores when they start having sales. Lot of the prom dress look like wedding dresses these days.

Definetly check out ebay. I bought my wedding gown, slip, and veil with garment bag for $117 including shipping. My dress retails for $399 at David's Bridal. It is style E8052. Do what I did, go to David's pick out a dress and try it on then search for it on ebay by the style and your size. Good Luck!

I have also seen some very nice, modern wedding gowns at the Goodwill. I've never checked the prices, but they must be under $100. Had I known that before I got married, it would've been my first stop!

ebay, vintage/thrift stores, sample sales...
or, try looking at bridesmaids dresses, or just fancy dresses (prom, cocktail dresses, etc).
a wedding dress doesn't have to come from a bridal gown store, a wedding dress is just whatever you are wearing to your wedding!

I donated my dress to Goodwill. Also, when I bought my dress I negotiated. EVERYTHING is negotiable when you are planning a wedding. NEVER pay full price unless you are completely in love with something and they won't budge.
