You will find great golfing on all of the main islands. Maui is probably your best bet for quiet, yet some fun, golfing, and nice hotels with great amenities. However, if you have more than one week, I would suggest that you try two islands.

Add either Oahu for the Waikiki, Honolulu, SHOPPING, golfing, luau, Pearl Harbor, North Shore, Pali lookout, snorkeling experience,

or

add the Big Island for more quaint town, golfing, volcano, lava flow, black sand, green sand, hiking, snorkeling experience.

I heard Maui was the most quiet get-a-way spot. We ended up going to Honolulu (Waikiki, Oahu). It was a great mix of both the busy and relaxing worlds. Front side of the hotel was shopping galore (somewhat like Rodeo drive) which also contained a "market place" great for souvenirs. Walked right onto the beach from the backside of the hotel. The folks there were great. The hotel was beautiful with good amenities. They also had a few restaurants in the hotel and had shows (like Vegas). We booked through american airline vacations Hope you have as much fun as we did. Congrats on your marriage!

actual, i became in Honolulu lower back in July, and luckily, the army paid for each thing. Waikiki is plenty too high priced; yet once you may desire to circulate those dates lower back somewhat. March would desire to be decrease priced than April or would, understand what I advise? And staying good on the sea coast would be plenty extra high priced than somewhat off to the section. there have been alot, yet i'm able to't remember simply by fact those names are impossible. stable success! warm tub, huh...hmmm. that provides me an concept.

The Westin Maui is ideal. Complete with adult only pool, and spa area at the top of several tiered pools. http://www.starwoodhotelshawaii.com/exclusiveoffers/sunsational.htm?EM=Hawaii_WDMFFHC0506BN23460_SUNSAV_ALLBD_ALL
