the chicken evolved from da dinosaur, and then laid an egg. So...I guess it would be dinosaur>chicken>egg.
So....the chicken.....in a way...............
OH! And here's a joke for ya:
A chicken and an egg are lying in a bed. The chicken is looking very satisfyed, and smoking a cigar. The egg is looking a bit teed off. The chicken looks over to the egg and says "Well, I guess that answer's THAT question..."

Historically, I think you will be able to find evidence of eggs (in general) existing before chickens. They aren't chicken eggs, obviously, but perhaps reptilian eggs, but objects classified as "eggs" nonetheless.
As for objects classified as "chickens," they emerged in time much later. So, given this observation, it seems that a correct answer is that the egg came before the chicken, and at some point in history chickens started emerging from eggs.

The chicken came first! It formed from bacteria, just like every other living organism. The egg is the chickens way of reproducing.

Shall I say the chicken probably came before the egg because it is hard to imagine God wanting to sit on an egg.

The egg came first.
Dinosaurs were laying eggs well before the chicken was on the planet.

The egg and the chicken were in bed together, the egg was all frustrated and angry at its side of the bed while the chicken was completely laid back and smoking a cigarette with a big smile on its face.
The egg says to the chicken: "Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question!
