You can't make them stop. It is a free country and people can do as they please. If you don't like what they are saying or doing, do not watch their shows or movies.

Why stop them?!? So what if they are using it for publicity, but lots of people volunteer for selfish reasons (looks good on a resume, makes them feel less guilty for having money, want to look like a good person, etc).
The important thing is that they are making a difference in the world and I think that is an admirable thing!

Are you sure they are using causes for publicity or do they truly care and want to help? Charitable causes are aided very much by someone who is famous working with the charity.

as long as a chartible cause is benefitting also, why would it matter? Give 'em all the publicity they want if a child or someone else can benefit from it.

Maybe punch them in their face haha just kidding. Well maybe if we dont pay any attention to them and and not make such a big deal about them. They are people just like us they just make a rediculous amounts of money.
