I think you've got a pretty good program going there. Be aware that the body doesn't start burning fat for fuel until AFTER about 30 minutes of exercise, so I think I'd recommend slowly working up to an hour. Whether it's treadmill or elliptical don't matter, what matters is that you work for a full hour. Don't do 20, then break, then 20 then break, etc.
Here's what I normally recommend to everyone inquiring about weight loss:
Change your lifestyle and do this forever. Drink lots of water, walk, run, or swim an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning. Eat fruits & vegetables.
No alcohol
no bread
no burgers
No candy
No chips
no corn
no fried foods
No pasta
No pizza
No potatoes
No sodas
No sugar
Good Luck

Walking for forty minutes on the incline is the best. It will not only help you loose weight but is one of the few exercises that actually tighten the stomach muscles!
Recent research has shown that taking omega 3 on it's own whilst good for you does not assist with weight loss but taking omega 3 and exercising has been proven to assist in loosing weight.
Exercise whilst assisting weight loss can also build muscle. Muscle being heavier than fat might mean no loss!
Please be careful not to loose too much weight at once. or too much anyway. The Body Mass Index is a good guide to aim for but many doctors think that most people should be a little heavier than that.
Good luck.

You can take my advice how ever you like, but I personally feel that walking does very little for your body. The body is so well adjusted for walking already that you really don't lose much weight unless you are obese (hence it being harder). Unless you have knee problems I would suggest going a bit futher than walking elsewise you're goals are a long distance away.
Just keep in mine 9/10 people that reply to this will probably just guess just for points, but i'm not guessing.

Walking is a great exercise for weight loss. I prefer to walk outdoors though. The fresh air is invigorating.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
