I have 4 boys all by c-section..thats alot I know. I havent (thank god) havent had any complications or problems with any of them. We are planning to have another baby. We want a baby girl to complete the family. I am just curious to see how many c-sections one women can have because the doctor doesnt recomend more than 3...I am well past that number. Ive heard stories of women having 7 c-sections. I am going to have another one when we manage to concieve again (just coming off the shot) Thank you all for your information and advice!

It's really dependent on the woman, her body, how it heals, etc.

I wanted to reply to the lady who said her doc said she has to have a repeat csection...PLEASE consider seeing another doctor. Most women can have a vbac, and it's much healthier. There are obviously reasons, like a vertical scar or maternal birth defect, but most women can have vbacs. Esp if you already have a child, you'll be able to heal faster and keep up with the kid!

I have had 2 so far and we still plan on having at least 1 more baby and I haven't had any problems with either of them. They say it takes longer to heal with each one but I didn't really notice a difference between my first and second.
