I would'nt bother getting it fixed. The car salesman will only knock the value the cost of him getting it repaired. And he will get it repaired a whole lot cheaper than you will be able to!

It would depend entirely on the age and make of the car. On a car thats going to fetch sub £1500 as a trade in I wouldn't bother. What you may get more as a trade in isn't going to offset the cost of repair.

Forget the dent ! Never trade your car in , trust me you will get ripped off every time . The best thing to do is sell private, and then use that money towards the new car. plus the dealer will give you a better deal with a cash deposit anyway.

Take your car to a couple of garages and ask them for a trade in price ,and see what they say about the dents .

Of couse as it will help you get a better price for your car. Did u know that u dont always have to get repairs done in body shop? as long as paint isnt damaged and dents are not creased. Cost in UK around £60 per panel.
