It depends. The Rosary is not a decoration.

The Rosary is a tool that can be used by anyone in prayer.

If you choose to display a Rosary then remember to behave (and drive) accordingly. Just like wearing a Cross or Crucifix, you are telling the world that you believe in and are trying to live the Gospel message.

With love in Christ.

Rosary beads which carry blessings are objects of holy devotion and should be treated with respect, there is no official catholic church statement on use of rosaries hanging from a review mirror, though, so you'll get alot of mixed sentiments.

I personally, refrain from anything which might be regarded as trivialization of the rosary, blessed or not, because that's the way I was raised. More important is the fact that you should never under any circumstances WEAR rosary beads. If you're respectful and properly display the beads in a non-insulting way, there really isn't a great reason to say you CAN'T put rosary beads in your window (though I would use a plain set that had not been blessed)

I actually had a friend in high school who always carried around a rosary and he was not catholic. He was very into religious studies and I never heard him say anything about it being sacrelegist. However, I would ask someone who is catholic to make sure.

I'm catholic - Why not have rosary beads?

I can't think of a eason why you can't. people might say if that was sacreligious putting teh beads in your pcket is too close to your genitals - so lets not get stupid, Jesus doesn't mind - just don't do things to take the piss out of him deliberately

If the beads have been blessed then they ought to be treated with more reverence than being turned into an ornament.
