I bought her the Nuby sippy cup. She loves it, and drink as much as she would out of a bottle. She takes it at night time too. Is this bad?

My son gave his up at 9 months and used a sippy, my daughter was 11 months. Nothing at all wrong with it. I'm a nurse.......... It doesn't matter how they get it in, but that they do get it in their bodies !!!!!!! Way to go mom.

My son was a hair over one when we got him off the bottle and onto a sippy cup, he is 2.5 right now and we are trying to get him to use cups most of the time. My daughter however is 1 year and 3 months and we just got her off the bottle. She has special needs and it took her longer to learn to suck and swollow so she had to be on the bottle longer. She never had any teeth problems and she still takes it to bed, even though i know its not good for her, but its the only way she doesnt scream for hours to get to sleep.

IF the child is using the cups, and has no need for the bottle, then you are fine....I would try and break the habbit having it in bed, but other that that its fine.....all kids are different.....My son was off the bottle completly at ten months....but my neice still had hers at a year....some kids just change over faster than others....it not bad....especially if she has had no problems with the switch.

Be thankful that she has transitioned so well. Remove the bottle all together unless she still asks for it. And as far as night time goes don't let her have any thing other than water at night so as not to create dental decay problems later.

Not if she is still maintaining the same amount of fluids during her day as when she was on her bottle. I wouldn't give her juices at night though, she'll get "baby bottle" teeth. Stick to milk or water at night time. Not too young to start brushing her teeth either!

No, it's not bad. I actually think it's great. I have a ten month old, and I wish I could get him off the bottle soon. Hooray for you! :)

I don't think so. It seems very normal for a 10-month-old to do that. just like the bottle, She takes it everywhere so it's normal. (I'm just saying I'm only 11)

LOL No, in my opinion, it's wrong to keep a toddler on a bottle.

Especially since your daughter loves her cuppy, throw the bottle OUT.

not bad at all, and it is much better to wean her onto a sippy cup sooner than later

I think ten months is too young to wean a baby off a bottle full time. Usually that's done at a year or after.
