Checked with my airline, didnt say anything about food items, just liquids, lotions, etc. Havent flown for a couple years, can you still bring any dry type food items on. We have tons of snacks packed for our toddlers.

You can bring on pretty much any food item you like, unless you are flying to Hawaii and there are restrictions about fruits.

Dry food type items are cool. Also, if you don't want to worry about having to put all your liquids and lotions into 3 fluid ounce containers, you can still pack your toiletries with your checked luggage without worrying about TSA confiscating any larger bottles. I packed 8 ounce bottles of mouthwash and contact lens solution in my checked luggage when we went to Orlando last month and TSA left it alone.

I flew in october and you couldn't bring liquid on the plane as long as it can fit in a plastic baggie. There are no restrictions on dry food.

Don't see why you couldn't. I did. However, i made the mistake of not eating it while on the plane and debarked in Canada. Had to go through three checkpoints over a darned ham sandwich! LOL Eat it on plane or dispose of it if you are going international.

I'm not sure, you'd have to talk to your travel agent. I believe that items you purchase after you clear security checks is allowed but not before. However there may be exceptions speak with a representative just to be sure.
