Maybe that is why he is late. He was depressed that there is no higher power.

BAD KITTY! BAD!

Don't you think that God didn't notice how perfect He is? Doesn't that mean he is kind of like a watch? So there MUST be a God-Maker! God is probably just out trying to find Himself and develop a personal relationship with the one that created Him.

Ha-Ha. A sarcastic question, how witty. Well, you obviously are questioning a belief system and that is not a bad thing. Everyone should think for themselves, question authority, never stop learning and all that good stuff. Just make sure you get your information from the source. If you are wanting to know and learn about God of the Bible, you should probably study the Bible for yourself, because unfortunately a lot of people who say they believe in God and the Bible don't actually ever read the "word of God," for themselves. This produces confusion and false-thinking which may not be malicious intention, but plain old ignorance. The short answer I think is that you are projecting your own depression or fear that there may be no higher power in your life, no one to watch over and protect us. That is a valid and common fear. Whether or not you choose to study religion or something else for answers, make sure to take a proactive approach in exploring the possibilities for yourself. Whether or not there is a God, goddess, or higher power, we are still in charge of our own life here on Earth and must be our own protector and savior in a sense that we are extracting our own truths and sacrificing our own life for what we believe.

Late? Late for what? And how in the universe can one even think that God's 'life' is meaningless? Have you LOOKED OUTSIDE lately?

Or maybe He's busy torturing beings on another planet and got carried away. He'll get back to us after a word from our sponser!

I can bet you would want to commit suicide yourself. After all ,all you are existing for is to become worm food. Why are you feeding your hopeless body to become a larger blob of fertilizer.

God's life is not meaningless...if it weren't for Him, you would have no life and neither would the rest of us...

That would explain His relative inactivity for the past few centuries...
