I am a republican and i ask the same question. Bush is soft on border security. I'm not a big fan anymore.

You guys live in America and you don't know why do you build the American Wall .... lol.
The Wall has nothing to do with stopping immigrations that's why is not finish , yet..
Do anybody wonder , A Wall at the border ?! hm ... isn't that a bit extreme?! why now ?! when Fidel will die this year and the communism will die also ...what for, we are fighting Mongols with arrows , are we In 221 B.C. when The Great Wall of China was build?! ...
THE 40-FOOT WALL (is translated here , part with wall),

The Pentagon believes that food and water will be the biggest problem, and since the US has the money to buy food, they believe we will be best able to resist this particular problem longer than most countries. People will want to come here just to get food.
The wall is straight up and down on the Mexican side, but it has steps and ladders on the US side to get over the wall and into Mexico. I never could "understand" why .Massive amount of Americans will go to Mexico to escape the extreme cold weather".

Seems like looking for OBL is at the top of a lot of list.. Every time Iraq is mentioned all we hear is "Why are we in Iraq,why haven't we caught OBL" so , the search continues even if it is for a body that will never be found... What people need to do is start marching in the streets causing an uproar,like the illegals did, and put border protection as a main topic .. then all these 2008 runners and Bush will have to wake up and do something...

I am sure the Bush family would love to fund the Border Wall Project. Brother Marvin Bush is an expert in electronic fencing. He has sold lots of it to the Kuweitis, and if the Mexican border fence becomes a reality he will most like get very rich.

Congress didn't fund a wall. Since Congress is the only part of government that can allocate funding, if they didn't put any money in the budget for a wall, then there's no money for a wall, thus, no wall. Bush can't spend money Congress didn't give him.

Bush wasting money on Osama? That's news to me. He said he isn't even thinking about bin Ladin. The reason he can't fund the border wall project is because he doesnt want to.

Did you learn nothing in your civics class? Bush cannot fund the border wall project because Congress must fund it.
