I find this very humorous, that anyone can pity God,this is God we are talking about here.On second thought I give him a little bit of pity to have someone ask such a question. Most of all I pity the atheist when and if God decides to make a believer out of any of them. The first word they will say is OMG.My daddy was severely burned, fought for his life for 9 long month's,believe me God made a believer out of him,the worst and best thing that ever happened to him.Don't be fooled for a min.and think that God cannot become very angry, and powerful, when he has had enough of being disrespected. He loves us and like any parent, will discipline us,for our own good.Do you think hurricane Katrina was just a accident? There were some people that became believer's that week.It took a terrible tragedy for some to finally accept the blessing of eternal life in heaven,And I didn't read this from the bible,I saw it happen before my very eye's.Like one person said pity the fool not God without a doubt.

If I believed in one, I sure would.
But I think we are based on higher laws ofthe universe that we can never know, that can never know us.
BEING is too big to be contained inside one conscious stream of
thought.
Wow, you just inspired a whole new thought...
If BEING is to described, then all that is, was, and ever shall be must be included in it.
How can all things be included inside a stream of consciousness that has a finite amount of things in its focus at anyone given point in time?
And you may say, well, God has the power to focus on everything at once.
Except, that wouldn't really be a focus. There would be no boundaries to it.
Therefore, there cannot be a linear stream of consciousness like our own.
And it cannot have its own personality.
It would be all things at once.
Shy, and loud.
Happy, and morose.
And that would not be one entity that could respond to any one name.
A thing like that has no continuity, no form, and therefore cannot be one thing.
It is all things.
And for lack of a better word, this poor, simply educated woman can only borrow from the concept of
the Tao.
