Sort of like Kool-aide but much sweeter. She might as well make the sugar free kool-aide and not add as much water. I really don't think that you are missing anything. If you have eated Jello then you have tasted it warm. She might like to try a berry flavored tea. Hot and sweet with a berry flavor..... Oh she would probably want a lot of sugar.

The taste doesn't change, it just isn't jelled anymore, and it's warm.
It's like warm kool-aid
