is it really your business?

I don't care, it's none of my business....and I wish you a happy life. The world needs more love and acceptance...not more hatred and intolerance. I lied...I do care....I want you and your partner to be happy.

Kind of a tricky question, if you want to become a member of a church that rejects this lifestyle as an abomination to the Lord, then what about renouncing that lifestyle and dissolving the sacred bond of marriage? Interesting, you've got me there. I like questions that.

The only answer I can give you is that any minister that decides to marry you, must by definition accept gays as communing members. Those that will not marry you cannot recognize your marriage as being valid.

This can put the church directly against the state's recognition of your union, which is why I vote against gay marriage proposals, pardon the pun. Church needs to match state, otherwise you end up with dilemmas like this. I don't think that the state can require any licensed minister to perform this rite, but one would have to call you married and the other would have to just describe this as living in sin.

So save us both some trouble and don't get married! J/K, do what you want. Hey, our church is holding a Valentine's dinner, come on out & see what the reaction is! Heh heh.

Not all Christians judge and condemn. I'm a Christian and I understand that everyone in the US isn't a Christian and doesn't believe the same things I do so I'm not going to say gay marriages shouldn't be allowed just because it goes against a religon that not everyone follows. I don't agree with your lifestyle, but it's your life and you should get the same rights everyone else does.

All Christians are sinners. But true Christians repent of their sins and are forgiven by the grace of God. To remain in sin - like homosexuality - and be a Christian is inconsistent. You cannot be a Christian and an unrepentent gay.

The first marriage is performed by God. God is present at every marriage. To convolute the sanctity of marriage through homosexuality is to spit in the face of what Christians hold so dear. It is to spit in the face of God. Given the opportunity, I choose to uphold the principles of God.

Should you choose to remain in sin, then heap condemnation upon yourself in the eyes of God through some other arrangement than marriage.

If you were a true Christian you wouldn't be gay, and you wouldn't have a problem getting married, we all have our own skeleton's in the closet, and we ask God to help us deal with them, If God says it goes against his law then how can one call themselves a Christian if they break that law, that's my view anyway.

There can be no gay christians...just because you claim to be a christian doesn't mean you are saved. If you were saved by grace, your lifestyle would change. The bible does say that homosexuals will not get into the kingdom of Heaven...I do pray for all you sad sad souls, that one day you will open your hearts and eys..

There's a tiny blond homophobe above here who's got the Christian message badly muddled by Christian fascists I think.

You should be allowed to get married - and be as miserable as the rest of us.
