My grandma made my dad drink this nasty crushed garlic and warm milk drink. This is supposed to help "scare" the cold out of you. I'm not sure if it works but surveys show that garlic can shorten the duration of a cold. Allicin is in Garlin and is supposed to be a decongestant. Anyways if not garlic does have highantioxidant properties so at least it's good for your immune system!

Try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.

Sore Throat? Mix ¼ cup of vinegar, ¼ cup of honey and ½ tsp cayenne pepper. Just take a tablespoon of this mixture 6 times a day – the vinegar kills the bacteria, the honey soothes the throat and the cayenne pepper restores your voice.

o.k this is sooooo nasty, but i think it works. i heard that if you cut the red part that it's hanging from the roster's head and chin and put it in the blender and then drink it RAW ! then you'll get rid of the cold.. ewww !

you should try it and then write me if it works, kidding. just take some Advil.

2 shots of white rum, a tablespoon of honey and 1 lemon wedge in a cup of really hot water. Drink it as hot as you can bear.

It works.

I dunno, ask my grandma, she has all sorts of weird remedies. She's an old hillbilly woman (I love her to death, don't get me wrong!) so she has a lot of odd ones. Like, she says put manure on chapped lips and put bleach on bee stings.
